EX URBAN JUNGLE 2012

WESTMOUNT — RMR’S A Coy conducted EX URBAN JUNGLE 12 on the weekend of 27-29 Jan 12 at Armoury and the Espace Griffintown in Montreal. The aim was to provide A Coy infantrymen and junior leaders the conditions to apply Close Quarters Battle (CQB) skills at individual and section levels.

On this EX, A Coy concentrated their efforts on improving their skill and proficiency in tactical shooting, shooting in CQB environments’ with team members using marker weapons, combat casualty care and evacuation, and detainee handling operations in four stands respectively.

All of this in the perspective of conducting EX URBAN GALLERY on March 12 where two platoons will advance into an urban landscape conduct offensive operations and successfully withdraw off the position.
